Feedback from happy Kayakers!

On Sunday the 10th of May UShaka Surf and Adventures hosted teams from ELAN Group, Jeep Apparel, The Natal Mercury and SA Rugby Legends in a beach activity duel.

On Saturday we had our youngest ever surfing student get up and riding. Our previous youngest learner was 6 years old. Children of this age require specialized attention but out coaches are often surprised at the speed with which younger children learn to surf.

16 Kids from America joined us on the beach for 3 crazy hours of surfing fun. The group had been out on a working holiday and had had little time to enjoy the ocean and beaches that the South Africa’s East Coast is so well known for.

A regular fixture for anyone coming down to uShaka Beach is the giant OC6 ocean racing canoe that is outside the uShaka Surf and Adventure shop. During the holidays a fun loving group of crazy Johannesburgers decided to take the canoe out. What resulted was a fun outing of thrills and spills and much fun.
