uShaka Surf and Adventures and Jeep Apparel kick off their 2008 Development Sessions

Development Surfing and Kayaking has always been close to the heart of the team at uShaka Surf and Adventures. This year we decided to extend our existing program and offered a group of 21 youngsters the opportunity to learn the excitement that can be experienced from the ocean at no cost.

Every Saturday Morning Shaun Sellman and Victor Ngema spend 2 hours teaching the group surfing and kayaking. After only 3 sessions all of them are up and riding on the surfboards already and looking more and more comfortable on the kayaks. The aim is to get the group up to a level of proficiency where they can start to enter surfing and kayaking competitions.

Judging from the smiling faces and the progression already being shown by the youngsters, this program is going to be a great success.
